Often I find we can get caught up in thinking thoughts that involve the statement “I don’t know.”
“I don’t know who I am.”
“I don’t know where I’m going”
“I don’t know what to do.”
“I don’t know what to do next”
“I don’t know if I should do this or that”
“I don’t know.”
The unknown can feel scary. The unknown is both complex and simple. The complexities of infinite opportunities, infinite possibilities. Yet simply, the unknown is an infinite void space. Empty, with space for creation. Yet full of life. Full of Grace. Full of Love.
I don’t know what’s next. I do not know what is coming. I do not know what my future brings. I do not know what life will look like in the next moment. I don’t know. I don’t know how the magic of life works. I do not know how it will unfold.
These statements can feel both scary and exciting, depending on the frequency you tap into. Depending on which side of the polarity you lean towards.
It’s natural to dip into the fear of the unknown. But… what if you paused for a moment, took a breath outside in nature, and truly felt into the unknown. And felt into the magic of it all.
Nature is a beautiful example of the cycles of life. The ever changing conditions of our environment, while standing strong, surrendering, letting go, allowing for rest and rebirth, and growing new again.
Pause. Take a breath. And let go with your breath. You do not need to hold everything together. You do not need to hold so much.
Breathe. Let go.
Breathe. Feel the fullness of new air come into your lungs with your inhale.
Each breath is a new cycle of letting go (exhale) and rising (inhale), of death and rebirth.
And with our breath, we can choose a new perspective and tap into a new frequency. We can choose to let go of the attachment to not knowing. We can let go of the attachment to fear, that keeps us held back and in a fake sense of ‘safety’. With our breath we can let go of old programs that keep us stuck in the past or stuck in the present, and held back from a beautiful new future.
With your breath, you can breathe into a new frequency of Knowing. Knowing what serves you. Knowing what Inspires you. Knowing what lights up your entire being.
Practice. Take a breath. Feel into a new statement.
I know the universe loves me.
I know I am supported.
I know that whatever I do, I am guided.
I know that there are always people who love me.
I know that what’s for me, will always be there for me.
I know that I am connected.
I know that I am connected to myself, to my higher power, to my spirit guides…. (to whatever you choose to believe in and acknowledge in your reality)
Often with these power statements, I would use the word I believe. “I believe in myself. I believe I can do this. I believe in spirit guides. I believe in the magic of the universe.” But belief requires a sense of faith, and it involves believing in the unseen or unknown.
So instead, I choose to use the word I know rather than I believe, because it invokes within me a sense of self empowerment and knowing in the parts of myself and the universe around me that supports a statement of Love, Gratitude, and Inspiration.
I know my worth.
I know my value.
I know my purpose.
I know abundance
I know freedom
I know Love
I know that I am Love
I know that I am Kind
I know that I do my best
And I know that the unknown brings me immense joy and gratitude
I know that I am co creating a beautiful life with the universe
I know that I am a powerful manifestor
I know that I can do anything
When practicing statements of affirmation, and feeling into that new frequency. Play around with using statements of “I know”. Starting with an I know statement, then adding statements of I am, I feel, I do, I love, I speak, I see, I understand - you can tap into each power of all the chakras and the senses they allow us to tap into. Have fun. Breathe. Play. Experience. And create a new state of being. You always have a choice to choose Love. To choose kindness. To choose gratitude. I not only believe in you, I know in your ability to choose Love. To choose a life that loves you, and loves others.
With love and gratitude,
Kirsten
